Make a Solar Electric Module
The group assembles one 60 watt 12 volt nominal 3.5 amp, solar panel, working with solar cells, solder,"ribbon" wire, tempered glass, silicon encapsulant and silicon sealer. The module will be available to buy at the end of the workshop.

Make a solar charger for your cell phone, or to charge AA batteries for your merchant card processor or flashlight.
Fee $85 + $15 materials fee

Learn about distributed generation, options for energy efficiency, renewable choices including solar fans, solar hot water, on and off grid solar electricity, wind, insulation, and heat pumps.
